Local Storage

TipMath uses your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) to save your calculation history for your convenience. This data:

• Stays on your device only
• Never leaves your browser
• Can be cleared at any time using the "Clear History" button
• Is automatically deleted if you clear your browser data

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This analytics service collects:

• Anonymous usage statistics (page views, navigation patterns)
• General device information (browser type, screen size)
• No personally identifiable information

Third-Party Services

TipMath does not integrate with any third-party services that collect your personal data. We do not use:

• Social media tracking pixels
• Advertising networks (beyond displaying ads via Google AdSense)
• User behavior tracking tools

Sharing Feature

When you use the "Share Results" feature, a URL is generated that encodes your calculation parameters. This URL:

• Contains only calculation data (bill amount, tip percentage, etc.)
• Does not contain any personal information
• Can be shared with anyone you choose
• Is not stored on our servers

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Clear your calculation history anytime with the "Clear History" button
• Clear all local data by clearing your browser's site data
• Use private/incognito browsing to avoid any local storage

Children's Privacy

TipMath does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Our service does not require any personal information and is safe for all ages to use.
